As I most recently have a little time, I was looking on the web yesterday. Trying to find new, stirring thoughts, inspirational recipes that I have never used before, to delight my family with. Searching for a while but couldn't find any interesting stuff. Right before I wanted to give up on it, I found this fabulous and easy dessert by luck over Suncakemom. The dessert looked so scrumptious on its photo, that called for rapid actions.
It absolutely was easy to imagine just how it's made, how it tastes and just how much my hubby will love it. Actually, it is very easy to keep happy the guy in terms of desserts. Anyway, I went to the page and simply followed the precise instuctions that had been accompanied by wonderful shots of the task. It just makes life rather easy. I can suppose it's a bit of a inconvenience to take photos down the middle of cooking in the kitchen as you may normally have sticky hands and so i sincerely appreciate the effort and time she devote for making this post .
That being said I am encouraged presenting my personal dishes in a similar way. Thanks for the concept.
I was fine tuning the initial mixture to make it for the taste of my family. I've got to tell you that it was an awesome outcome. They prized the taste, the thickness and enjoyed getting a treat such as this during a lively week. They basically asked for more, many more. So the next time I'm not going to make the same miscalculation. I'm likely to twin the amount .
Thanks to Suncakemom for the yummy recipe.
Sugar Free Quick And Easy Lamington Recipe
If you are fond of coconut and chocolate then these cubes are crying for you!
1 Teaspoon Baking powder
For the icing:
½ cup / 100ml Milk
Beat eggs butter and syrup until pale.
Add alternately the cinnamon, flour, baking powder mixture and the milk. Mix them until smooth.
Pour the pastry into the baking tray. Put it in the preheated oven at 350ºF / 180ºC for half an hour.
Meanwhile make the coating:
Melt butter, cocoa powder, honey, milk and rum aroma in a big saucepan until cocoa powder is completely dissolved.
When cake is baked take the tray out of the oven and leave the cake cool down a bit. Then cut it into cube shapes.
Use tooth picks to dip the cubes into the chocolate and roll them quickly into the coconut to coat them evenly.
Leave them on a cooling tray to dry or put them in the fridge to cool down and dry faster if you can't wait to try.
